4. LIFE-Symposium – TIME TO CONNECT

The LIFE profile line of Friedrich Schiller University Jena invites you to the 4th LIFE Symposium on 26 November 2025. The event will take place from 12:00 to 6:00 pm at the Center for Applied Research (ZAF) and is dedicated to fostering university-wide, inter- and transdisciplinary networking among researchers in the life sciences.

The symposium will feature presentations by fellows of the LIFE "Connect" and "Talent" programmes, as well as interactive formats to promote scientific exchange, such as a speed-dating session with professors and an "Offering & Looking for" board. The cooperation with the cross-university alliance Nucleus Jena extends the networking and transfer concept beyond the university. This also provides an opportunity to connect with researchers from EAH Jena and the University Hospital, as well as representatives from local companies, who will present their current activities and projects.
