The first theme explores the role of Artificial Intelligence in Earth System Sciences. AI technologies are transforming how we model, predict, and understand complex Earth systems. This session will examine AI’s applications in climate modeling, ecosystem monitoring, and the analysis of environmental data, offering new tools to tackle global challenges like climate change, resource management, and sustainability. Attendees will learn about the cutting-edge research and innovations shaping the future of Earth sciences through AI.

The second theme focuses on Computer Vision as a core area of AI research, with applications reaching far beyond environmental contexts. This session will showcase how computer vision methods are being developed and applied in fields such as medical imaging and visual learning. Through examples from current research, participants will gain insight into how visual data is used to train intelligent systems, recognize complex patterns, and contribute to interdisciplinary innovation across science and industry.
